Inserting a temperature degree symbol

in the articel, you have taught us how to insert some of the speacial characters. i am still wondering how to insert the marks that show tempratures. like the mark of centigrade degree and sowthing like that. can you give me more detailed information? thanks a lot!! :)

Answer
You are supposed to be able to do it by clicking alt+0176, but it hasn't worked for me. I have also not been able to find any resource on entering a temperature degree, so I use a work-around in Word.
In a Word document, insert the degree symbol by ctrl@+space or from Insert > Symbol...
Then copy the symbol and then Paste Special into FrameMaker as Text.
It is a round-about way to do it, but at least you can get the symbol into your document.
