Ron Kurtus' Strategic Defense Initiative Credentials

Ron Kurtus worked on the United States' Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) program for the U.S. Air Force at their Space Systems Division as a civilian with the equivalent rank of Major. He first worked as a Project Manager on the SDI Space Based Interceptor and later became the Total Quality Manager for all the Air Force's SDI programs.
Previous to working for the Air Force, Kurtus did scientific work on anti-tank missiles at Hughes Aircraft Co. and worked on various space programs at the Santa Barbara Research Center and McDonnell Aircraft Co.
Ron majored in both Mathematics and Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He did his graduate work in Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and in Mathematics at the University of Missouri.
Kurtus taught Mathematics at the University of Missouri, Physical Science at the Milwaukee Area Technical College and Mathematics at Waukesha County Technical College.
He has written two books: Gravity and Gravitation: Derivations, Equations and Applications and Tricks for Good Grades: Strategies to Succeed in School.
Material he has written has been also been cited in 145 published books, including Physics textbooks and a book published by NASA.
