Signing up for Google AdSense is the first step in being able to gain revenue from AdSense ads on your web pages.

AdSense provides a means for websites that provide information to gain revenue through advertisements related to their content.

Before you can start placing AdSense ads on your website, you must enroll in the program by providing Google with relevant information, as well as important information about how you want to get paid.

Enrolling in AdSense

You can sign-up and enroll in the Google AdSense program from:

AdSense home page

Click on Sign Up Now and fill out the simple application form.

Requirements

There are certain requirements that must be fulfilled:

Website information

You need a website URL where the ads will be placed
Select a language for the website
Agree not to place adds on certain types of sites, such as pornographic

Contact information

Whether an Individual or Business account
Country for payments
Name, address, city, state, postal code
Telephone number

Policy

Agree to Google policies

Account Information

Once you submit your application, you can fill out or edit Account Information.

Important information

Information concerning logging in and getting paid must be filled in:

Login information
Payee information
Payment details (method of being paid)
Payment holding (how often paid)

Other information that can be edited later include:

Ad Display Preference
Interest-based Ads Preference
Third Party Ads Preference
