Give Thanks by Championing a Cause

Give Thanks by Championing a Cause

About 2 min read

After receiving the rewards or benefits from achieving a challenging goal, you should first celebrate and congratulate yourself, so you feel like a champion. Next, you should give thanks and give back. For example, after an athletic contest you often will see members of both teams gather to give a prayer of thanks for the game. Later, many will give back through community or charitable service. That is a good example to follow.

You can give back by championing a worthy cause. That gives true meaning to the word “champion”. A worthy cause is one that seeks positive results and change. It does not mean to perform destructive acts to try to force someone to follow your views, even if they are worthy views. Seek to get involved in a worthy cause or contribute to a good charity.

There are thousands of charities and worthy causes. Many are listed below. If you have others you recommend, send us an email.
