Mini-Quiz: Increase Your Comfort Zone

by Ron Kurtus (revised 17 June 2008)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. If the coach yells and says, "You can do better than that," will the athlete be motivated to excel?

Yes, because yelling motivates people

Not if the athlete can't see himself doing better

It depends on the sport

2. Why do some kids mess up their rooms after their mother has cleaned it and put everything away?

They picture the room as comfortable when messy

They do it to irritate their mother

They envision themselves as parents some day

3. Why is it better to move the bar up a little at a time?

You should really shoot for the sky and envision being at the top

Because you really don't deserve to get in a better position

It is a realistic improvement of your comfort zone

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Excellence. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
