Mini-Quiz: Creating a New Document in FrameMaker

by Ron Kurtus (14 November 2006)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Why would you create a blank document?

If you really had nothing to write

People seldom use this feature

To design your own format

2. What do the standard FrameMaker templates concern?

How to make large, complex documents

Basic short business and school documents

FrameMaker does not provide free templates

3. How would you use an existing document as a template?

Select that document when creating a new one

Delete all the words and pictures and then Save As

Start with a blank document and then paste in the existing one

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in using FrameMaker. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
