Mini-Quiz: Generating a PDF File from FrameMaker

by Ron Kurtus (7 June 2008)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Why do you need to set up your printer first?

So Print to File shows a PS file name

It doesn't matter what order you do things

So you can set how many copies of the PS file to print

2. What if you want your PDF file to include tags?

Click the Include Tags button in the Print box

Check Generate Acrobat Data and click PDF Setup...

Uncheck Print to File

3. Why do you need to use the PS file to generate the PDF?

It is an unnecessary added step

It is to assure a backup

It will not work from the FM file

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in using FrameMaker. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.

Always do your best
