Mini-Quiz: Practice Taking Tests

by Ron Kurtus (updated 28 February 2022)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Why practice taking tests?

To do something completely useless

To get good at working under pressure

To get out of doing other homework

2. What type of homework wouldn't be good as a practice test?

Homework where you must solve problems

Homework that you don't feel like doing

Homework where you discuss answers with a friend

3. How is competing with a friend to finish a homework assignment a form of test-taking practice?

You find out who your competition is when you take a real test

You show who is the best and prove you are smarter than your friend

You concentrate and work fast, as you would have to in a test

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Getting Good Grades. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
