Be Anxious to Get Up in the Morning
by Ron Kurtus (revised 2 April 2012)
A good question to ask yourself is, "Why do I get up in the morning?" This relates to your attitude and your purpose in life.
Some people anticipate getting out of bed in the morning, because they have activities that the enjoy to do. Others simply hate to get out of bed in the morning, because they do not look forward to the tasks they have to do.
Finally, there are those who seem to have nothing to do, and their next day is just another day of boredom. You should try to find enjoyable activities to make you anxious to get up in the morning.
Questions you may have about this include:
- Why are some people anxious to get out of bed?
- Why do some people hate to get out of bed?
- Why are some people bored?
This lesson will answer those questions.
Be anxious to get up
If there is some activity that you truly enjoy doing, you are typically anxious to get out of bed and get involved in that activity. For some, they are a lucky enough to have a job that they enjoy and even love doing. Others may be looking toward the time after work when they can get involved in a hobby or other enjoyable activity. People on vacation are often anxious to get up in the morning to engage in another adventure.
Having an activity that you truly enjoy allows you to the anxious to get out of bed. It is worthwhile to acknowledge things that you really love, so that you can get this great feeling.
When you hate to get up
Some people just take to get up in the morning. If you have a job that you really don't care for, but you do it simply for the money, you may not be anxious to get up and go to work. There may be some difficult tasks or even unpleasant relationships that you hate to face in the upcoming day, thus you hate to get out of bed.
There is a saying, All work and no play makes John a dull boy. In other words, you need to have some fun activities besides your work. Obviously, it is nice to have a job you love, but if you don't have such a job, you still need to have some enjoyable things to do after work.
Part of this has to do with attitude and emphasis. Some people emphasize the bad and do not acknowledge the possible enjoyable activities that they have. They need to think positively and find some things they truly enjoy doing.
Some people don't look forward to getting up, because there really isn't anything interesting to do.
Some teenage students get this feeling during summer vacation. They say there's nothing to do and that they are bored. Elderly people also may become bored because there really isn't anything interesting life anymore.
A person who hates certain activities also has the emotions to be able to love other activities. A person who is bored they find it difficult to get interested in anything. You need to do some soul-searching to find the things that interest you.
Ask yourself why you get up in the morning to expose your attitude and your purpose in life. Some people anticipate getting out of bed in the morning because they have activities the enjoy to do. Others hate to get out of bed because they would like to avoid the tasks that they have to do. Some are just bored because they seem to have nothing to do. You should try to find enjoyable activities to make you anxious to get up in the morning.
