Ron Kurtus' TQM Credentials

Ron Kurtus has been involved in business improvement activities for a number of years. He was the Total Quality Manager for the Air Force's Strategic Defense Initiative Programs, implementing TQM and quality improvement among Air Force contractors.

He has been a guest presenter on Total Quality Management at various conferences such as for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Operations Research Association, the First National TQM Symposium, and the Third Annual TQM Conference, as well as speeches at Grumman Aircraft and the Pentagon.

Kurtus was also involved in an ISO 9000 working group and wrote much of the ISO 9000 documentation for GE Medical Group. This included writing top-level plans to step-by-step work procedures

Ron graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and did graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Missouri. He taught at the Milwaukee Area Technical College, Waukesha County Technical College, and the University of Missouri.

Kurtus has also written two books: Gravity and Gravitation: Derivations, Equations and Applications and Tricks for Good Grades: Strategies to Succeed in School.

Material he has written has been also been cited in 151 published books.
