Mini-Quiz: Motivations for Writing

by Ron Kurtus (23 July 2007)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Why would you express yourself in a journal?

It feels good to put your personal thoughts down on paper

Because you may be able to sell it when you get famous

A journal is only used to document a trip or vacation

2. What is a major reason for a personal website?

There is no reason except that you are expected to have one

It is cheaper than putting up some pages on MySpace

To express to the world about yourself and your interests

3. What does getting your writing published show?

It proves your credibility as someone who can sell anything to the masses

It gives you credibility as a source of valuable information or entertainment

It shows that you have sold out and are a puppet to the establishment

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Writing. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
