Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often. If you don’t find what you need, please contact us.

What does it cost to read the lessons?

Our core lessons are open to read. An optional membership supports the site and unlocks extra study tools, downloads, and classroom features.

Who writes the lessons?

Most lessons were written by the site’s founder, Ron Kurtus, over more than two decades. School for Champions is now owned and actively managed by Tarryn Biswas. You can read more on the founder profile and the About Tarryn Biswas page and about our process in the Editorial Policy.

How accurate is the information?

Lessons are based on research and established information about each subject, and we correct errors when they are reported. See our Editorial Policy for details.

Can I use or cite the lessons?

Yes, with attribution and a link back. Please review the Terms & Copyright page for the specifics.

Are there ads or tracking?

No third-party advertising. See our Privacy Policy for what limited information the site collects.

Is the site suitable for students and children?

Yes. The lessons are written for learners of all ages, and we do not require any personal information to read them. See the children’s-privacy section of our Privacy Policy.

How do the quizzes work?

Many lessons include a short interactive quiz. You simply select an answer to see whether it is correct — no account or login needed.

How do I report an error or suggest a topic?

Please use our Contact page. We read every message and update lessons when a correction is warranted.

How is the site organized?

Lessons are grouped into subjects, each with its own overview page. The curriculum lists every subject, and the Start-here guide explains how to navigate.
