He taught Physical Science, which included a section on Chemistry, at the Milwaukee Area Technical College. He also taught Mathematics at the University of Missouri and at Waukesha County Technical College.

Ron also had a Technical Writing business, which helped hone his skills in presenting material in technical areas, such as Physical Science and Chemistry.

Material he has written has also been cited in 151 published books, including Physics textbooks and a book published by NASA.
